Hi, I'm Emily.

When I stumbled upon presentation design after
a career in publishing, I felt like I'd found an abandoned puppy by the side of the road.
Why was everyone ignoring something so charming? That puppy just needed to be cleaned up and given some love. Like that puppy, your presentation needs to be nurtured.

When you bring design love and discipline to your content, it is transformed into an engaging display that works harder for you. It captures your message. It conveys the big idea. It holds your audience's attention, and it stays with them. Successful slides make your point and enhance your brand.

My passion is to convey complex material with clarity, beauty, and fun. My goal is to exceed your expectations with lively infographics, images, animations, and typography that showcase your ideas.

I give presentations a design home, empowering the message that lives at the heart of your organization. Let's talk!

How it works

(and what it costs)

Great presentations aren't about walking your audience through bullet points. They're about using slides to show you at your best— to launch you into your message, to reflect and enhance your brand, and to ensure that your key points and big ideas are powerfully conveyed.

Here's how we'll get your slides to work harder for you:

ASSESSMENT First we'll take a look at what you've got. Send me your existing talking points, webinar or slide deck. Talk to me about your objectives.

PROPOSAL I'll provide you with clearly defined recommendations including visuals. The proposal may be for a quick clean-up or a complete reimagining of content. That will depend on your needs, your schedule, and your budget.

SLIDE BUILD This always includes graphic design and may also include text editing and content development, slide animation, illustration, charts, graphs, infographics, and image research and rights procurement

HAND OUTS Yes, your audience can still receive take-away documents to review and refer to after your talk. Depending on your needs, I can create a simple one-pager or a complex reference manual.

So what will it all cost? Well, of course, it depends. It depends on the scope of work and its complexity. I will include a detailed estimate with my written proposal and once agreed upon, I'll stick to it.

"I highly recommend Emily Soltanoff. I was in a bit of a jam and needed help putting together a PowerPoint presentation in a hurry.  Emily was able to take my existing presentation and make it look much more polished and professional, as well as design new slides and create a “flow” which really worked.  Working against a deadline, she was patient and professional and I was very pleased with the final outcome.  The response from my audience was very positive. Thanks Emily!"
